7.0/10

My stay at Juniper Springs was a mix of highlights and some disappointments. The service from staff like Timon was really good and really made me feel welcome. However, I encountered some issues with the cleanliness of the laundry facilities and some maintenance concerns in my room.

Rooms
7.0
The one-bedroom condo I stayed in was spacious and comfortable with nice views. Nonetheless, the lack of air conditioning made the room uncomfortably warm, and I struggled with the kitchen drawers being too full to open properly.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I especially appreciated the personalized service from Timon, who helped me get acclimated to the area.
Location
8.0
Juniper Springs is ideally located near the Eagle lift, providing easy access to the slopes. I loved how convenient it was to explore the beautiful Mammoth Lakes area.
Dining
6.0
I enjoyed the convenience of having a grocery shop downstairs, which made meal prep easier. However, options for dining nearby were a bit spaced out, making reservations challenging at times.
Facilities
5.0
I appreciated the heated pool and hot tubs, perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. Yet, I did find the laundry facilities to be pricey and not very clean when I visited.

7.0/10

I had a decent stay at Juniper Springs Resort, enjoying the close proximity to the ski lifts. However, the additional $20 per night fee felt unjustified since the pool was out of order. The room was spacious with a well-stocked kitchen, but I did notice the furniture was a bit dated. Overall, it was a good experience, but there are areas that need attention. 🏔️🛌

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious and featured a beautiful deep bath. However, I felt it was showing signs of wear and tear. The refrigerator made a loud noise at night, but luckily, the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep.
Service
6.0
The reception staff didn't offer a warm welcome, which left me feeling a bit disappointed during check-in. However, the housekeeping team was responsive and helpful during my stay.
Location
8.0
The resort's location next to the Eagle Lodge lift was perfect for skiing access. It's a convenient spot, but the overall condition of the hotel reminded me that it's due for some renovations.
Dining
6.0
While the hotel didn't provide any breakfast options, I appreciated having a full kitchen to prepare my own meals. 🥘
Facilities
5.0
The on-site amenities like the ski lockers and underground parking were great. Unfortunately, the heated pool was not operational during my visit, which was a real letdown.

5.4/10

My stay at Juniper Springs Resort was a mixed bag. While I appreciated the staff's friendliness and some of the amenities like the heated outdoor pool and hot tubs, my initial impression was marred by cleanliness issues, such as dirty items in the room. The convenient ski access was great, but the overall condition and organization of the resort left much to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
The room was disappointing, featuring unclean surfaces and malfunctioning appliances, which were unexpected at this price point. Despite that, the layout was functional with a useful kitchenette and comfortable beds.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating. However, while their demeanor was pleasant, it didn't always translate into effective problem-solving, as evidenced by my complaints about the room not receiving attention.
Location
5.0
The location could be a downside; while technically close to the slopes, it felt misleading to call it 'ski-in, ski-out' as there was a bit of a trek involved, especially with ski gear. Plus, it was quite far from dining options.
Dining
5.0
Dining options on-site were limited, and the absence of a restaurant was noticeable. I had to venture out for meals, which made things less convenient after a long day of activities.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like the outdoor pool and hot tubs were highlights, but the cramped locker room situation and the ineffective shuttle service could be improved. The lack of a bar or restaurant was also a downside.

6.0/10

Overall, my stay at Juniper Springs Resort was filled with ups and downs. The beautiful setting and ski-in/ski-out access made my skiing experience enjoyable, and I loved relaxing in the heated pool after a long day. However, I encountered cleanliness issues in my room and a few communication inconsistencies with staff that dampened my overall impression.

Rooms
6.0
While my one-bedroom condo was spacious and had well-stocked kitchen facilities, I was disappointed to find it less than clean upon arrival. There were remnants from previous guests, which was quite off-putting.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and, in many cases, provided excellent service. I received helpful local recommendations that enhanced my stay, but there were times of conflicting information that caused some frustration.
Location
7.0
The location is quite convenient for ski access, but I found the 'ski-in/ski-out' claim a bit misleading, as it was still a bit of a trek to the lifts. Nonetheless, the scenic mountain views added to the overall experience.
Dining
5.0
There are no on-site dining options, which forced me to cook more than I anticipated. A nearby shuttle service is available, but I'd have preferred more dining variety within walking distance.
Facilities
7.0
The heated pool and hot tubs were highlights of the resort, providing a great way to unwind. However, I noticed that the locker room facilities could be cramped, especially during peak hours.

6.2/10

I had a wonderful family ski vacation at Juniper Springs Resort! The heated pool and hot tubs were perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes, and the views of the mountains from my room were amazing. However, the location wasn’t strictly 'ski-in, ski-out' as advertised. There was a bit of a walk to the lifts, which could be inconvenient for some guests. Overall, the friendly staff and excellent amenities made my stay enjoyable. ❄️🏔️

Rooms
8.0
The room was clean, comfortable, and had a well-stocked kitchen, perfect for my family’s needs. We appreciated the spacious layout and beautiful views, though it felt somewhat outdated in places. Overall, it was a good experience.
Service
10.0
The resort staff were really good! They were very friendly and attentive, always smiling and ready to help. Special shoutouts to Nicole, Manny, and other team members who made my stay more enjoyable. Their level of service was excellent.
Location
7.0
While the location was beautiful and relatively close to the ski lifts, it wasn’t the true ski-in, ski-out experience I expected. There was a bit of a walk to access the lifts, which some may find inconvenient. Additionally, dining options nearby are limited.
Dining
6.0
Dining options at the resort were minimal, with no full restaurant on-site. There were morning coffee offerings and a small shop for snacks, but I missed having a proper restaurant for lunch and dinner.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were generally well-maintained, with an excellent heated pool and multiple hot tubs, perfect for relaxation after skiing. However, the cramped locker room situation could use improvement.
